Kirsten Biddle participates in "study abroad" trip to Paris and Italy with John Carroll University

Kirsten Biddle is among 32 John Carroll University students who recently traveled to France and Italy for a spring break break study tour. The class is sponsored by the Bishop Pilla Program in Italian American Studies and the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Cultures at John Carroll.

In a show of solidarity for the people of Paris in the wake of last November's terrorist attacks, the students delivered a proclamation to President of the French Republic Francois Hollande during a visit to the Elysee Palace (the equivalent of the U.S. White House). The proclamation was signed by John Carroll University President Robert L. Niehoff, S.J., and Dr. Jeanne Colleran, Provost and Academic Vice President.
