Meghan Harte is highlighted for the following award from the Department of Education and School Psychology at John Carroll University for the 2017-18 academic year:

  • Francis Ted Huck Award for Excellence in Education - Middle Childhood.

Harte is majoring in Education. The program is part of John Carroll's College of Arts and Sciences. Details about the award are below:

  • Dr. Francis T. Huck's span in the Education Department was three decades, the 60s, 70s and 80s. He taught research and statistics, but his passion was Teacher Education. He was instrumental in developing strong university-school relationships through his work with field and clinical student teaching placements. Upon his retirement, the Department established the Francis T. Huck Award in his honor, recognizing the outstanding achievement in Student Teaching.
