  • This award is given to a student who has shown outstanding academic performance as reflected in grades, research activity, service, and demonstrated enthusiasm for the discipline. Dr. Fenton Moore was a faculty member in the Biology Department from 1972 until his retirement in 2004 and served as department chair and as director of the Health Professions Advisory Committee. He was well-known for his concern for students and for the rigor of his teaching.
