As a Jesuit Catholic university, John Carroll inspires individuals to excel in learning, leadership, and service in the region and in the world.
John Carroll is a private, coeducational, Jesuit Catholic university providing programs of study in the liberal arts, sciences, and business at the undergraduate level and in selected areas at the master’s level.
Academically, the University consists of the College of Arts and Sciences and the John M. and Mary Jo Boler School of Business, which both include graduate programs. John Carroll operates on a semester calendar, with two 15-week semesters and three summer sessions.

John Carroll students named to Catholic Community Connection's Summer Fellows Program

Catholic Community Connection (CCC) has selected five John Carroll University students for its 2018 Summer Fellows Program. The collaborative was created to introduce young adults to careers in Catholic ministry.

Anthony Shoplik Receives Rev. Joseph Schell, S.J. Award

This award is named for Fr. Joe Schell, S.J. who founded JCU's Campus Ministry department in 1971 and was renowned for his wisdom, gentle spirit, sense of humor, devotion to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola, and commitment to a faith that does justice. This award honors the senior or seniors who have provided consistent and outstanding leadership in Campus Ministry over four years.

Four JCU Students Working at the United Nations World Food Programme This Summer

The newly established Hal '81 and Diane Hawk and Carl Hughes '79 World Food Programme Fellowship allows JCU students to work for two months at United Nations offices. Two students are assigned to the U.S. Relations Office in Washington, D.C., and two will be at the WFP's headquarters in Rome.
