John Carroll University

The Psychology Scholastic Achievement Award is given in recognition of the psychology student who attained the highest major GPA, with strong consideration given for overall GPA.

The Nicholas DiCaprio Award for the Distinguished Graduate in Psychology is given to the student who has achieved a high overall and major GPA, a high score on the departmental comprehensive exam (the Major Field Test), and has been involved in psychological research and/or practicum activities in psychology in demonstrably significant ways. This award honors the late Nicholas R. DiCaprio, a John Carroll graduate who taught psychology here for 34 years and was chair of the department for nine years.
